Join us as a Document Control Coordinator and play a pivotal role in the success of the Yellowhead Mainline Project (YHML). This is your chance to take charge of our project's document control procedures, leveraging SharePoint as the central platform for efficient and effective document management. Your expertise will ensure the project's documentation is accurate, accessible, and securely managed throughout its lifecycle.

**What You Get to Do**:
Implement and oversee document control procedures, ensuring precise storage, sharing, review, and approval of project documents.
Manage the SharePoint site, configuring it for optimal document control, including permission settings, process automation, and metadata navigation.
Handle document numbering requests, maintaining the Master Document Record (MDR) and ensuring documents are correctly distributed and stored.
Guarantee the accessibility of current documents in digital and physical formats, marking obsolete versions accordingly.
Conduct monthly audits of the SharePoint site to ensure compliance with document control standards.
Support various project teams by providing crucial document management insights and ensuring the alignment of documents with project requirements.
Stay ahead of industry practices by participating in relevant seminars and training.

**What You Bring**:
Information and Records Management Certificate from SAIT, or equivalent certificate or diploma from a recognized institute.
A bachelor's degree in a related field would be advantageous.
At least 3 years of document control and management experience in large projects, ideally within a regulated utility environment.
Substantial experience managing documents on SharePoint and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to diverse user groups.
A commitment to maintaining high standards in document control and the ability to lead records management personnel effectively.
