As Membership Services Coordinator with Strauss event & association management you support the Event & Membership Manager with the following: member services, communications and coordination, database management, dues and invoice processing, conference and event planning, committee interaction, web and publication production, and administrative responsibilities.

**Role Accountabilities**:

- Prepare and invoice members for membership dues;
- Effectively utilize association management software, and maintain membership records online;
- Prepare monthly membership reports including charts and graphs as requested;
- Support the members use of association provided products and tools;
- Set-up and coordinate online system for association awards;
- Initiate outbound calls to encourage participation in association client events;
- Ensure client records are filed and organized in compliance with Strauss’ records and retention policy; and
- Provide administrative support to Event & Membership Manager.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- College diploma or bachelor’s degree or 4 years’ combination of education and related experience;
- Must be fully bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written, and based in Canada; Montreal preferred;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel;
- Excellent customer service skills, coupled with friendly and effective communication - both verbal and written;
- Proven effective organizational and prioritization skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Must be available to travel 10-15 days per year within Canada and the US; and
- Previous experience working with volunteers is a benefit.

**Status**:Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
