We are hiring a **Placement Coordinator** to support all our Ontario campuses.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Developing and maintaining a contact list of employers or businesses for practical and co-op and field placement training for students at Brampton and Toronto Campuses;
- Preparing students for their practical courses prior to their practical training;
- Handing out and collecting required documents and forms to placement employers;
- Supervising students’ training at the practicum and ensuring the course curriculum is being followed;
- Conducting placement courses and implementing related curriculum as required;
- Compiling supplementary teaching materials, undertaking audio or video recordings and other work as may be requested related to the courses;
- Instructing, supervising, and conducting optional activities related to the delivery of Co-op and Career Services goals and objectives;
- Fulfilling other administrative duties assigned.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of exposure in progressive human resources generalist roles with a proven track record of success.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- A good understanding of employment legislation and regulations (ESA, OHSA, Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA, etc.)
