Job Description:
Microchip is looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our Canadian HR Team. In our fast-paced environment, we are seeking a motivated team player that will understand the business and culture to provide strategic talent consult for impact and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to assigned internal client groups and establish and maintain strong relationships with Business Unit leaders and employees.- Deliver HR services and programs; act as advisor and coach to managers and employees- Ensure the timely filling of open requisitions with highly qualified employees by conducting interviews and negotiating job offers- Manage onboarding tasks for new hires, including delivering orientation sessions- Administer performance management, compensation, and benefit programs, including leave of absence requests and worker's compensation claims and manage ongoing employee benefit inquiries and coordinate employee benefit events- Manage employee relations matters, including coaching managers and conducting investigations- Gather, track, and report on HR metrics- Facilitate deployment of HR systems, processes, and improvements Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or related field) or equivalent experience- 5+ years of HR experience (high-tech company preferred)- Strong track record as a business partner- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction and supervision, and drive tasks and projects to completion.- Experience supporting teams in performance management and compensation practices- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in resolving sensitive issues- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Demonstrated success in delivering HR programs that advance the business goals- Strong analytical and reporting skills- Skilled in working with HRIS and ATS systems, experience using Workday preferred- French language is an asset

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. Benefits of working at Microchip
The annual base salary range for this position is $81,000 - $100,000.*
- Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
