Specialty Dental Administrator

Chinook Dental Group is excited to welcome a Dental Administrator to our specialty practice. We provide comprehensive care in endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. This position is well-suited for someone with experience in dental administration or clinical practice, who brings strong organizational and communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position with alternating weekly shifts. Typical hours are **Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm**, with earlier start times (**7:30am**) on some days. Occasional **Saturdays (7:30am-4:00pm)** may be required, up to **one Saturday every four weeks**.
- Shift times may vary, and additional afternoon shifts could be added in the future._
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track incoming referrals, with a focus on periodontics
- Coordinate appointments and communication with patients and referring offices
- Handle administrative tasks and support clinical workflows
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and documentation
- Effectively do chart reviews for patient bookings
What You Bring:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a specialty dental setting
- Familiarity with periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with ClearDent, MaxAssist, and Microsoft Outlook is a plus
- Background as an RDA, RDH, or in dental/business administration is an asset
