Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking an **Inventory Control Lead** **to join our team. The essential function of this position is to be a working lead, responsible for all the aspects of an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Lead oversees the Inventory team throughout the inventory process. In addition, the Inventory Lead
will train new employees, as well as ensure that assigned tasks are completed nightly.

**Shift**: 11:00pm-7:00am 5-6 days a week

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Train new inventory clerks and monitor progress and accuracy.
- Verify physical inventory counts vs. electronic inventory.
- Responsible for the generation of the applicable reports in NAV.
- Generate weekly task assignments and ensure they are completed accordingly.
- Formulate corrective action for inventory issues which may arise during the physical count process.
- Will assist, as required to physically count all inventoried products, including all Production, Staged, and

Do Not Ship (DNS).
- Identify and correct tagging issues.
- Required to physically verify inventory throughout the shift.
- Make inventory adjustments as needed.
- Consolidating tags.
- Assisting with proper rotation and lumping practices.
- Any additional duties as assigned.

**Education/Background Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year previous inventory experience and forklift experience required.

**Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Problem solving and organization skills.
- Math, tabulation and reconciliation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience with Navision.
- Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work

habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate party.

**Working Conditions**:

- Normal office environment and warehouse environment. Environment includes an expansive refrigerated

warehouse, where the temperature averages 50°F. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis.
- Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 15 kg.
