**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of banquet dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing for banquet events
- Take initiative to test and develop new dishes
- Establish new recepies for manufaturing cultural food items in bulk quantities.
- Establish marketing and sales campaigns to increase revenue
- Establish and maintain vendors and agents to sell cultural foods
- Participate and supervise food preparation activities, ensuring quality control and consistency
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of meals during events
- Oversee kitchen operations during banquet service, including supervising team members when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area before, during, and after events
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support the team in managing multiple banquet functions simultaneously
**Qualifications**
- Proven 3 - 5 years experience in East Indian, Western, and other Cultural food preparation, cooking, and food service within a banquet / restaurant or hospitality environment
- Proven and verifiable track record in culnary line with reputed restaurnat / banquet hall.
- Supervising experience or team management skills preferred
- Food safety certificate required along with strong knowledge of food standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during large-scale events
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen management
- Ability to serve guests professionally and courteously at all times
- A leaning aptitude is required to bring any dreams to fruition.
