**You are**

A **_Program Manager, Vocational Rehabilitation Services_**. This position will provide team leadership, operational direction, program planning, financial resource management, and resource coordination for Vocational Rehabilitation services throughout the province in accordance with Manitoba Possible vision, mission, and values.

Vocational Rehabilitation is the progressive process of empowering individuals with disabilities to plan, prepare for, attain, and maintain gainful employment. Services include vocational counselling, planning and goal setting, assessments, training, support services, and direct employment services, in accordance with the Employment Assistance for Persons with Disability (EAPD) manual.

This position will be required to travel to the various offices throughout Manitoba.

**Your Role**
- Provide team leadership and development and effective human resource management, ensuring Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and support staff have a clear understanding of their role and a shared commitment to the program and Manitoba Possible’s mission, vision and values. Participates with other Managers and Directors as part of Manitoba Possible’s Leadership Team.
- Provide effective financial resource management through annual budget preparation, ongoing financial monitoring, and implementing decisions to ensure areas perform in accordance with program budget.
- Initiate and develop collaborative relationships with service partners in rural areas and Winnipeg, funders, and key stakeholders. Attend meetings with partners, stakeholders, and funders on a regular basis. Represent Manitoba Possible in the community at various events.
- Complete reports with stats as required by funders and/or Director and Manitoba Possible.
- Adhere to all Manitoba Possible policies and guidelines.
- Lead by example; consistently communicates in a respectful, responsive, and responsible manner.

- Prioritize workload regularly.
- Work collaboratively/team orientated to achieve project and organizational goals.

**What You Know**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Bachelor of Social Work preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of supervisory and program management related experience is required.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and diversity.
- Understanding of current employment related legislation, i.e Labour Standards Act, Human Rights Canada Manitoba, Canada Employment, and Employment Equity, EAPD manual, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of Manitoba employment market conditions and challenges including rural and remote Manitoba.
- Knowledge of the essential components of case management as it pertains to vocational rehabilitation
- Knowledge of the mandate and services of Employability Assistance for People with Disabilities.
- Knowledge of community resources that supports the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in preparing annual budgets including analysis and financial monitoring.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines through prioritizing and organizing work.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s license and access to a vehicle an asset.
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) an asset.
