Vancouver, Canada FORM Advising Full time

**Role/Responsibilities**:

- assisting head advisor with education-related research, client proposal creation, client follow-up, note-taking
- advising grade 8 - grade 11 students on academic/college/career planning
- providing guidance and feedback on personal statement and other college essays
- keeping organized records of student progress, following up with students weekly
- helping to develop effective and standardized college prep consulting curriculum
- leading college prep classes lectures, seminars, and workshops

**Skill/Experience Requirements**:

- completion of university (MA or PhD a plus)
- superior writing and communication skills
- teaching experience a plus
- experience advising students in college preparation and career planning
- affinity for working with high school aged students
- thorough knowledge of US colleges and universities a plus
- you should be: optimistic, results-oriented, organized, driven (can manage own time)
- ability to carry out various tasks, desire to have high impact in a start-up environment
- familiar with Canadian high school system a plus

**Company Information**:
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
