**Overview**:
We are actively seeking a Communications Cabling Technician to assist with daily operations in our Edmonton office. Predominantly commercial/retail/data center projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to install cable runs, patch panels and cross connects. As well as experience working within data centres and knowledge in cable lacing as per the Datacenter standards.
- Hands-on experience with installation of copper and fiber media types
- Experience working with Fluke test equipment - understand how to read and upload results.
- Knowledge of 48 volt DC power is an asset
- Ability to maintain detailed site documentation of customer cross-connects
- May be required to participate in regular facilities audits
- Certified in Belden, Commscope and/or Panduit. Additional certification(s) an asset.
- Comfortable working within a detail orientated position.
- Ability to comply with specified policies and procedures of both the company and customer
- Experience in telephony, security and audio visual is preferred
- Available for support 24/7 and may be required to perform maintenance windows
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$28.00 per hour
