**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated **Full-Time Maintenance Assistant**to join our team at Society for Autism Support and Services (SASS).

Society for Autism Support and Services (SASS) is an Alberta-based registered charitable organization providing comprehensive support and education services for people with Autism and related disorders.

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for supporting all maintenance-related duties across our three facilities. This includes assisting with general repairs, routine inspections, basic upkeep, and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for clients and staff.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday - Friday. 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

**Duties**
- Perform a daily inspection routine as defined by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Document and report the results of the inspection to your supervisor
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the provision of maintenance, repair and renovation services for all the facilities as designated by the Society
- Provide maintenance services such as, but not limited to: painting, drywall and plastering, plumbing, electrical, bulb replacements, wall and ceiling repairs
- Inspect, monitor and maintain hot water, plumbing, electrical, heating, fire and emergency systems as required
- Provide summer landscaping and property maintenance for all Society facilities as outlined by the Supervisor such as, but not limited to, lawn mowing, watering flowers and lawns, pruning flowers, trimming and pruning bushes and trees, picking up garbage and leaves, grounds clean up
- Maintain/repair the key and lock systems at all Society facilities and ensuring a supply of spare keys to meet staff needs
- In the absence of Maintenance Supervisor, arrange for any required outside repair services where required
- Maintain a clean driving record and run various errands as requested
- Maintain and clean various pieces of equipment used in maintaining and repairing the Society properties
- Any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

**Experience**
- General Maintenance experience
- Knowledge of Tools and Equipment
- Safety and Compliance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Valid driver's license
