**Job Overview**
Reporting to the Regional Vice-President, Northern Alberta, as the **Vice-President, The Floor Show, Edmonton**, you develop and implement strategic plans for all aspects of the business unit. You also provide strategic and operational leadership, and foster a culture of excellence in people, business operations and customer service.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Implementing strategies to enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Developing excellent organizational culture in business operations, customer focus, collaborative workplace, and employee engagement.
- Fostering positive relationships with builders, ensuring product availability, delivery and installation align with established schedules and quality.
- Leading, developing, and providing guidance to all Sales team members relative to review of contracts, agreements and pricing.
- Developing and managing the division’s budget, including forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Monitoring financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Driving revenue growth through strategic pricing, new initiatives, and market expansion.
- Staying attuned to the marketplace and strategically tailoring the product offering to what customers want and need.
- Researching and initiating changes to continuously improve products and services, along with the people, processes and tools that satisfy customers and support the business.
- Fostering relationships with business partners, including vendors, trades and external builders.
- Overseeing and leading the overall staffing plan of the business unit to develop a workforce that is highly engaged, enabled and productive.
- A strong communicator; you clearly express your thoughts in conversation as well as write and present in a persuasive and influencing manner.
- An active listener; you seek to understand and listen to others in a non-judgmental way.
- A creative problem solver; you take evaluated risks to capitalize on opportunities and implement tough or unpopular decisions.

**Essential Requirements**
- Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
- Successful record in General Management that demonstrates effective hands-on leadership in a position of comparable context, scope and content.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint).
