**Bookkeeper (Part-time)**

Utility Solutions Corporation (USC) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Mississauga. This role is for someone who thrives in an independent work environment, demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, and brings significant experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

The bookkeeper will begin with an initial focus on historical clean-up (Billing, A/R, Reconciliations, etc.), working full-time (40 hours per week) over a 4-6 week period. Once this phase is completed, the role will transition to a part-time position (2-3 days per week) with flexible scheduling.

**Job Summary**:

- Lead all bookkeeping activities independently.
- **Initial historical clean-up**:Help set a solid financial foundation, focusing on Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Reconciliations, and more.
- **Monthly Financial Management**:Generate invoices (approx. 50/month), manage Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Payroll processing.
- Reconcile accounts, credit cards, bank accounts, and vendor statements monthly.
- Post and maintain accurate journal entries.
- Prepare tax remittances, workers' compensation reports, and tax returns.
- Complete Month-End, Quarter-End, Year-End preparation, and generate financial statements and job profit reports.
- Support the office with occasional general administrative tasks.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- 5-10 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (5-10 years).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, along with proficiency in Word and Outlook.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills (both written and spoken in English).
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Someone comfortable managing historical bookkeeping clean-up tasks with efficiency and precision.
- A proactive individual who can streamline processes and ensure financial accuracy.

**Education**:

- Diploma or Degree in Bookkeeping and/or Accounting.

**Schedule**:
**Historical Clean-up Phase**
- Duration - Approximately 4-6 weeks, 40 hours per week.
- In-Office work

**Ongoing Part-Time Role**
- Flexible schedule with approximately 16-20 hours per week, working 2-3 days in the office (based on workload and project needs).
- Opportunity for additional hours tied to workload and business requirements.

**Salary**:

- $25.00-$35.00 per hour (based on experience and job performance)
