A&S brings these capabilities to its clients through deploying XR Server, a proprietary no-code API toolkit that empowers brands to operate LiveOps-driven engagement campaigns with consummate ease. XR Server is the culmination of decades of gamification experience, expertise, and success.

Alice & Smith Metalab (Metalab) specializes in LiveOps and systems integration services to help Clients architect, deploy, and maximize the value of XR Server and Playfab within their technology ecosystems.  

We are seeking a **Technical Project Manager** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Execution**: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Azure-based projects deploying LiveOps technologies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- **Team Management**: Manage a core team of game design experts, developers, QA, and other internal and external project resources, ensuring effective collaboration, resource allocation, and task delegation.
- **Client Communication**: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, providing project updates, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- **Requirements Gathering and Documentation**: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements, document them clearly, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- **Budget and Resource Management**: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct regular project reviews, and align with the QA/UAT team to implement quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- **Change Management**: Manage change requests, assess their impact on project scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate changes effectively to the team and stakeholders.
- **Project Reporting**: Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues, to keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Deploy business-defined project tools with rigor and identify areas for process improvement, contribute to the implementation of best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the project team.
- **Project Tools**: Use project management tools with rigor to facilitate collaboration across all stakeholders in the project (ClickUp, Wipster, etc.)

**Required skills **:

- University degree or college diploma in the field of Management, Computer Sciences / Information Technology or applicable discipline.
- Five (5) years+ of experience in a similar position
- PMP or similar designation preferred.
- A thorough understanding of developer productivity, tools, and systems that enable software development and deployment.
- Ability to express oneself orally and in writing, in English (French is an asset)
- Good general knowledge of the steps involved in the realization of a systems integration project and the associated vocabulary.
- Knowledge of fundamental cloud solutions concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of various management concepts (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, GTD, etc.).
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Competent and proficient understanding of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and project planning and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple complex integration projects simultaneously with coordination support.
- Ability to work with both technical (Front-End, Back-End, DevOps, QA, and Solutions Architects) as teams.
- Experience with working with creative teams (game design, UX/UI, strategy, and content creation) an asset.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS integration, an asset.

- Excellent organizational, time management and priority management skills.
- Willingness to work with new means of communication.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-based solutions best practices.
