Amano Trattoria, a renowned establishment known for its exceptional Italian cuisine, is preparing to launch an exciting new bar concept in the upcoming fall season. To spearhead this venture, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager who possesses a deep passion for the art of mixology, exceptional leadership skills, and a drive to create memorable experiences for our guests.

**Position Overview**:
As the Bar Manager, you will initially join our team as the lead bartender, assuming additional responsibilities and dedicating hours to planning and launching the new bar. Once the new bar opens, you will transition into a full-time role as the Bar Manager, where you will continue to work hands-on behind the bar while also assuming managerial duties. This position requires availability during evenings and weekends to ensure the smooth operation of the bar during peak hours.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Beverage Program Management:

- Develop and curate an innovative and exciting beverage program, including an extensive wine selection and creative cocktail offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ensuring the bar remains at the forefront of mixology, and implement new ideas to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and beverages.

2. Team Building and Management:

- Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing bar team that embodies the Amano Trattoria brand and provides exceptional service.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and professional growth among the bar staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop training programs to enhance staff skills.

3. Guest Experience:

- Lead by example by delivering outstanding service, interacting with guests, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, creating a memorable experience for guests and building a loyal clientele.

4. Sales and Marketing:

- Collaborate with the restaurant management and ownership to develop and execute strategies to generate new business and increase bar sales.
- Utilize social media platforms and other marketing channels to promote the bar and its offerings.
- Explore partnerships and collaborations with local businesses and organizations to enhance brand visibility.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bartender, with a deep knowledge of wine and cocktails.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to build and motivate a cohesive team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
