Digital Print and Bindery Operator

**Job Summary**
You will play a crucial role in the production process, working with various print and bindery equipment to fabricate and package products according to specifications, and company standards.
You must possess experience in Print operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate finishing of printed materials.
**Duties**
- Operate and maintain printing equipment, such as digital presses, large format printers, laminators.
- Operate and maintain bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, and stitchers.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Fabricate and assemble materials as required for various projects.
- Utilize machining skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring they are secure and properly labeled.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency within the bindery department.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in bindery/printing is required.
- Experience in pre-press and file set up is a plus, but not necessary.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery effectively.
- Experience with fabrication processes is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- You have previous print industry experience.
- Are legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Are available to start immediately.
- Have reliable transportation to commute to central Mississauga.
Pay: $19.00-$26.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
