The role
A typical day
- Work directly with customers, sales and engineering teams to develop and deliver wireless systems solutions to meet customer needs.
- Support the development of customer proposals and bid responses, including preparing high-level schedules and cost estimates and participating in customer meetings.
- Manages the planning and implementation of Private LTE/5G systems, including networks and support services.
- Coordinates Freedom and Shaw departmental or cross-functional teams, as well as major and minor suppliers, focused on delivering new networks and support services
- Manages projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, tracking, and evaluation of project performance.
- Motivates project team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics.
- Conducts project review and status meetings, and communicates project status.
- Utilizes established project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.
- Supervises field network installation, in conjunction with installation supervisors and installation teams
- Assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

Your skills/experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree or technical diploma in relevant a field.
- 5+ years of project management or engineering experience in complex systems integration projects.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer facing role.
- Experience with at least one of the following: Cellular infrastructure, IT Networks, Land Mobile Radio communications systems or Civil construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
- PMP and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) are highly desired.
- Understanding of cellular and/or two-way radio infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
- Understanding of industrial operations, particularly mining, is a plus.
- Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time domestically
