**Job Title**: Servers

**Job Summary**:
The Avenue Room Wedding & Event Centre is owned and operated under Infinity Management Inc. Infinity Events & Décor is just one of our many subsidiaries that are heavily involved in the events industry and encompass a wide range of event related services and activities that include but are not limited to: weddings, charity & non profit functions, large scale corporate events, jewelry, live florals, photography, videography, event venue management and operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Bus tables, keeping the floor neat and tidy during the duration of an event
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and professional manner (as required only)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and dining spaces
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the event floor as needed
- Polishing of glassware and cutlery
- Providing support to the bar back

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including basic wine and cocktail knowledge, is an asset
- Certification in food handling may be required
- Must have Serve it Right Certification

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Able to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions and tasks in a busy environment

**Salary**
- $16/hr + tips

**Hours**
- This is a contract position with the ability to pickup shifts
