**JOB SUMMARY**

The incumbent will be responsible for shipping, moving, checking, inspecting, and storing the items received, in accordance with the instructions and respecting the required deadlines.

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Actively participate in the smooth running of operations at the loading dock and in the different work areas

Receive and unload delivery trucks

Check the codes of items received in order to compare them with the packing slips and other relevant documents

Count the parts and products received

Take note of missing items

Put damaged items aside and report it to the supervisor

Make necessary corrections when errors are detected

Unpack, code and distribute items in the appropriate storage locations

Maneuver a pallet truck to load or unload, move and store items

Process returned items to physical inventories and reservations

Respect the loading plans and the logical sequence of stops of transportation

Pack subcontracted items and affix the identification tags

Keep your work environment clean and safe at all times for yourself and colleagues

Use the computer to print shipping labels

**QUALIFICATIONS**

High School Diploma completed

Forklift certification an asset

Minimum of three (3) years of experience

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

Understand, write and express yourself in English.

Intermediate knowledge of a computer system

Sense of initiative and efficiency

Competency in problem solving

Ability of fast and accurate execution of work

Ability to meet deadlines

Tolerance to repetition
