We are growing and looking for a full-time **Junior Accounting Analyst** located in our office in **Guelph, ON.** This is an entry level career position ideal if you are looking to begin your journey in world of Finance. To succeed in this role, you must be able to assist with professional accounting tasks and analysis of financial data in support of various accounting functions including Account Payable, Payroll, Cost Accounting, and General Accounting. - Record monthly journal entries. - Prepare detailed monthly variance analysis of balance sheet accounts. - Manage accounts receivable and ensure that monthly revenues are collected on time. - Complete monthly bank reconciliations. - Maintain all accounting files in an organized and efficient manner. - Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and/or special assignments as requested. **What we look for**: - One to two years experience in a related position. - Post-Secondary education in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required. - Knowledgeable in auditing practices and principles. - Strong critical thinking as well as analytical skills. - Demonstrated experience in accounting software (i.e. Simply, Accpac, Quick Books, Yardi, etc.). **Why you want to work here**: - You get a thrill from staying organized; numbers and details are your "thing". - Analyzing and auditing data to detect and correct errors is your dream job. - You're a responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks (our work is never done). - Working for a growing company that supports environmental stewardship and social responsibilities is a must for you.
