Metro’s floral department provides a variety of vibrant, fresh cut flower arrangements and seasonal house and garden plants to meet our customers’ needs. If you have an eye for creativity, enjoy working with your hands and have a love of flowers and plants, our floral department is the place for you

Joining our **Floral team **will help to enhance your talents, bloom your skills while, captivating our customers with our flower arrangements

**General Responsibilities**:

- Receives direct deliveries, stocks and merchandises products
- Process floral orders for customers, including but not limited to pre orders.
- Makes floral arrangements for display and per customers’ requests
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Support with overall store operations including store opening and closing

**General Qualifications**
- Floral design certification is required
- Prior floral experience and product knowledge is required
- Customer service driven
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time and work under minimum supervision
- Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights, weekends and holidays
