BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- must possess and be capable of maintaining a valid M.T.O. Class “D” driver’s license with a “Z” endorsement.
- must be capable of taking and maintaining WHMIS and First Aid Training.
- must be able to comprehend and interpret verbal and written instructions.
- must be able to work shifts.
- must be able to work with mínimal supervision.

BASIC DUTIES
- Responsible for the daily routine maintenance of all transit vehicles and facility, including performing minor mechanical repairs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily routine maintenance of all transit vehicles and facility.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs as necessary.
- Fuel all transit vehicles on a daily basis.
- Clean all transit vehicles inside and out, as part of a regular schedule.
- Check all oil, coolant and battery levels on a regular schedule.
- Remove cash vaults from the fare boxes and transport them to the city cash handling room on a weekly basis.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage area floor and bus wash.
- Make coach change-offs when required.
- Participate in training as required.
- Adhere to all City and occupational health & safety regulations and policies that are applicable.
- Responsible to replace coach attendants and utility persons in their absence.
- Perform other related duties as required.

COACH ATTENDANT SCHEDULE
- Monday to Saturday - Rotating 5:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M. & 3:30 P.M. TO 1.30 A.M.
- NOTE: Schedule and hours may change as bus service dictates or operationally required.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:30AM to 7:30PM

- Successful reference check (two work-related references, with a minimum of one being a direct supervisor)
- Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check
- Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
