We are seeking a reliable and professional part-time **Security Guard / Concierge** to manage the front desk and ensure the safety and security of premises. This role involves monitoring access to the building, assisting visitors, and providing a welcoming, secure environment for residents and guests.

**This role offers growth opportunities, including full-time employment, on-the-job training, and potential advancement to a supervisor position based on performance.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist residents, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Monitor building entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
- Maintain visitor logs.
- Perform regular security patrols and inspections of the premises.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV), alarms, and other security equipment.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents calmly and effectively.
- Enforce building rules, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Provide reports on daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and management as needed.
- Handle incoming calls, mail, and deliveries at the front desk.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Valid security license/guard card.
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or front desk roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems or reporting tools.
- Availability for weekends night position.
- Be able to commit for long-term.

**Work Environment**:

- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- The job requires to be seated at the front desk.
- Outdoor patrols required.
- Require use of communication equipment (e.g., radio, phone).

**Physical requirements**:

- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
