Reporting to the Operations Manager, the CNC Operator will be responsible for overseeing our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines and helping ensure we can produce quality parts to customer standards.

**Primary Responsibilities**

  • Demonstrate the ability to achieve production standards on the equipment in the assigned production line
  • Oversee machines while they execute tasks and assist with making the necessary changes to produce improved results
  • Full understanding of the safe operation of equipment and basic fault correction
  • Able to detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining
  • Provides assistance with machine adjustments, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production
  • Ability to check, gauge, and analyze parts for conformance to inspection requirements
  • Ability to load and unload parts from equipment, as well as pack parts into finished good containers
  • Record machine actions by completing production logs
  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
  • Communicates with supervisor, Engineering, Quality and other relevant departments to resolve machining or quality issues.

**Your Qualifications**

  • 1+ years’ experience as a CNC Machine Operator
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience using SAP is an asset
  • Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Basic computer skills for inputting data

**Working Conditions**

  • Able to work shift work
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Overtime as required
