We are currently seeking a talented generalist to join our team as a **Human Resources Business Partner** for the Atlantic & Central Region. In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of human resource programs and policies that support the vision and goals of the business. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work closely with line managers in administering human resource functions such as recruitment, training and development, performance management and general HR business support.
**This is an in-office position, Monday to Friday.**
**Details**:
- Coordinate regional recruiting lifecycle through preparation of job advertisements, varying levels of screening and interviewing, facilitating employment offers and background checks, onboarding activities, and exit interviews.
- Provide advice and support to company managers on employee-related issues such as policy interpretation, performance management, leave of absence, or other HR programs.
- Implement and administer a variety of human resource policies. Coordinate and deliver employee or manager information sessions as needed for topical areas (e.g., orientation, group benefits, EAP, retirement savings plan, etc.).
- Address and resolve workplace issues or complaints in a respectful and inclusive manner, ensuring a positive work environment for all employees.
- Conduct research, compose written material, report on statistics or other data.
- Facilitate workplace surveys and attend recruiting or other events.
- Maintain files and participate in general human resource activities.
**Requirements**:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with HR concentration, plus approximately 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Broad range of experience in recruiting, onboarding, training administration, performance management and leave administration.
- Solid knowledge of relevant HR laws, legislation, and best practices, as well as a good understanding of group benefits and retirements savings programs.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and adherence to the confidentiality of employee and business information.
