**About the Position**:
Are you a hands-on, go-getter with a passion for creating a positive living space? We’re looking for a Building Manager to join our team at 40 Powell Street As our Building Manager, you’ll be the heart and soul of our property, making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone feels right at home. If you love working with people, solving problems, and keeping things in tip-top shape, this could be the perfect role for you.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Welcome new tenants** and guide them through their move-in process, including walk-throughs of their units to make sure everything’s in perfect shape.
- **Set up buzzers** so new tenants have easy access to the building.
- Tackle the occasional **plumbing problem**—from plunging toilets to snaking sinks and tubs.
- Keep the **front entrance** looking fresh and welcoming with a quick sweep whenever needed.
- Be the go-to for all **mail and package deliveries**, making sure they get to the right hands.
- Stay on top of building cleanliness by working closely with **cleaning staff** to keep the place sparkling.
- Be the friendly face tenants can count on, addressing any questions or issues they might have.
- Stay organized and handle **maintenance schedules**, ensuring that minor repairs and bigger projects are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Be ready to respond to **emergencies**—whether it’s a leaky pipe or a broken elevator, you’ll know exactly what to do.

This is a rent-reduction position. In exchange for a few hours of work per month, you will receive a reduced rent rate for your unit. The amount of rent reduction will depend on experience.
