Purpose of the role
The incumbent will assist the communications and public relations team daily with different projects and responsibilities related to media relations, events and internal communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the realization of PR events;
- Ensure daily media monitoring, create a press review and visibility reports monthly and by campaign;
- Update and populate the press list;
- Update images and press information;
- Assist in the realization of various HR marketing projects;
- Assist the team with the department photoshoots;
- Execute and follow up on media sample requests;
- Track and sequence samples for PR needs;
- Coordinate the dispatch and tracking of shipments to the media;
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of different products, banners and the company in general;
- Contribute to content creation;
- Support all other requests for the team;
- Occasionally write or translate communications (newsletters, invitations and other documents);
- Support requests for donations and sponsorships.

**Profile**:

- Impeccable writing skills: You have a perfect command of writing in both French and English, with a constant focus on clarity and impact (The person must communicate outside Quebec).
- Clear communication: You excel at expressing your ideas clearly and fostering constructive exchanges.
- Proactivity and multitasking: Working on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high performance is one of your strengths.
- Knowledge of the retail industry: Your experience and knowledge of the retail sector allow you to navigate this dynamic environment with ease.

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual, both written and oral French and English (The person must communicate outside Quebec);
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or equivalent;
- Proficiency in the Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
