**Job Description**:
Position Title
We are seeking to hire someone to fill a 1 year maternity leave position with the potential for extension/full time role after the 1 year maternity leave is complete.
We are seeking a highly motivated receptionist to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for general administrative duties including but not limited to greeting patients, booking appointments, extended health insurance billing, and overseeing efficient patient flow.

Main Responsibilities
- Complete daily patient check-in and COVID-19 screening
- Respond to inquiries via phone, serving patients in a timely manner and preparing detailed messages for clinicians
- Arrange scheduling of patient appointments with various clinicians
- Complete accurate extended health insurance billing for paramedical services and medical items
- Communicate with extended health insurance companies regarding patient policies and benefits
- Maintain confidentiality and organization of patient medical and insurance records
- Registration and updating patient information (i.e, Treatment Informed Consents, Assignment of Benefits, etc.)
- Document printing, photocopying, scanning and faxing

Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in administrative duties and/or customer service
- Experience in electronic medical records preferred (i.e Universal, Oscar)
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
