**Hours**:Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (1 hour lunch)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Process Licence Applications adhering to Compliance Requirements**
- **Additional Occupations**:Analyze the licensing file when an additional occupation is brought forward determining if review by Council is required and a condition imposed on the licence.
- **Confidentiality**:Maintain confidential client files according to Insurance Council of Manitoba policies.
**Licence Holder Support**
- **Licence Renewal Support**:Provide substantial support to licence holders who are having difficulties with or have questions pertaining to renewing their licence.
- **Website Information**:Direct stakeholders to the ICM website to provide information and guidance, walk through user guides if and as required.
**Support the Licensing Department**
- **Relief and Coverage**:Provide relief to Receptionist/Examination Coordinator and Administrative Assistant with regard to licensing duties.
- **Support the Administrative Assistant**:Provide support for the Administrative Assistant in their absence.
- **Project Completion**:Complete projects, including annual audits, in a timely fashion at the direction of the Department Manager/Director.
- **Follow-up on Files**:Perform follow-up activities resulting from licensing meetings, as well as other duties at the direction of the Department Manager/Director.
- **Participation in advancement of system**:Provide ideas for system and process improvements to the Department Manager/Director.
- **Participate in System Development meetings**:Participate in Norima meetings as required and give feedback by way of testing the system in specific licensing areas.
**Licence Holder Requirements**
- **E&O Terminations**:Review disqualified E&O files and assist with sending out formal disqualified letters.
**Stakeholder Management**
- **Liaison**:Communication with other insurance councils for non-resident licensing, verification and confirmation.
- **Other Duties**: Perform other duties at the direction of the Department Manager/Director.
**EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**
- High School diploma and post-secondary education in Business Administration
- At least 3 years’ experience in a professional office environment
- Preferred: One years’ experience in a related field
- Proficient with a PC Computer system
- Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of proprietary office systems
- Working knowledge of common use office equipment
- A basic working knowledge of the Insurance Act and regulations is considered an asset
- Preference to persons who have worked in a regulatory environment involving consumer protection
**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Must pass a criminal record check and be legally entitled to work in Canada
