**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure high-quality meals are served.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
- Assist with special events or catering services as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
