Quality Control Inspector

Leduc, Canada Core Design Ltd. Full time

Under the direction of the Senior Machine Operator, the QC Inspector will perform inspection of finished products and calibration of QC tools and carry out other job duties as required.

**DUTIES**
- Maintain compliance with API Q1/ISO 9001:2015
- Perform First-off inspections
- Conduct in-process, final and receiving inspections
- Inspect raw materials
- Document and report findings
- Organize, calibrate, repair, maintain and operate precision measuring tools
- Participate in shop organization and improvement projects.
- Verify traceability
- Check and maintain calibration
- Monitor finished products to confirm their compliance with quality standards and remove those which fail to comply
- Work in conjunction with the Quality Control/Assurance Department to ensure a consistent and quality product
- Work in conjunction with the HSE and HR departments to promote a safe working environment and feedback on training needs both internally and externally

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School or Post-Secondary Education
- Experience using and calibrating precision measuring tools including Vernier Caliper, OD & ID micrometer, Dial-bore gauges, Depth gauges, Gagemaker thread measuring tools
- Minimum three-years’ experience performing machined part dimensional inspection
- Forklift - 1 year
- Overhead Crane - 1 year
- WHMIS, First Aid
- Very detail oriented
- Thorough understanding blueprint of drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Physically able to lift parts up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
