Brampton, Canada Best Brains Learning Centre - Brampton McVean Full time

_**Best Brains of Brampton McVean, a learning center, is currently hiring enthusiastic, part-time instructor to teach Coding to students ranging from 3-14 years old.**_

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting hourly sessions
- Hands-on coding exercises
- Providing individualized support, and assessing student progress.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Python, Web Development, and Scratch.
- Prior experience in coding or software development.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts to students with varying levels of experience.
- Prior experience in teaching in a similar environment will be preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback effectively.

**Working Conditions**:

- Onsite work environment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

**Operational Hours**:

- Tuesdays: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
- Wednesdays: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
- Thursdays: 4:20 pm to 7:30 pm
- Saturdays: 10:00 am to 1:10 pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 4 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6P 0J9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
