We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations & Dispatch with an understanding of sewer, flushing, and CCTV operations to join our team.

**Position Summary**:
The Operations & Dispatch is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the daily operations of the Hydrovac division. In consultation with the Operations Manager, this role involves overseeing the dispatching of crews, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources to meet client demands while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dispatch Coordination**: Manage the dispatch process for hydrovac and CCTV inspection crews, equipment, and resources to various job sites, ensuring timely response to client requests and adherence to project timelines.
- **Scheduling and Planning**: Develop and maintain schedules for field personnel, equipment maintenance, and service calls to optimize productivity and resource allocation.
- **Communication Liaison**: Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews, clients, and internal stakeholders to relay information, address concerns, and ensure smooth operations.
- **Resource Management**: Monitor inventory levels of equipment and supplies, coordinate with the Operations Manager and Fleet to ensure availability, and track equipment maintenance schedules for optimal functionality.
- **Safety Compliance**: In partnership with Health and Safety, uphold and enforce safety protocols, ensuring that all operations meet regulatory standards and guidelines. Participate in regular safety briefings and audits to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment.
- **Problem Solving**: Address operational issues and challenges as they arise, implementing effective solutions to maintain workflow continuity and customer satisfaction.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, service reports, and job site information. Generate reports on operational metrics and performance indicators as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in dispatch coordination or similar roles within the hydrovac, CCTV, sewer, or watermain industry is highly preferred.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Familiarity with hydrovac operations, CCTV inspections, sewer, and watermain systems is essential to understand the intricacies of the tasks and effectively coordinate resources.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise between field teams, clients, and internal departments.
- **Problem-solving**: Quick decision-making ability and a proactive approach to address challenges and find solutions.
- **Attention to Detail**: Keen attention to detail when managing schedules, documentation, and resource allocation.
- **Computer Proficiency**: Comfortable using dispatch software, Microsoft Office, or similar tools for scheduling, reporting, and data management.
- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications or training in dispatch operations, logistics, or related fields are advantageous.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of hydrovac and CCTV operations, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
