Clarke Transport Inc. is currently recruiting for a fulltime Dock Person.

This is a Monday to Friday position from 7 am to 3 pm, with possible OT daily

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for shipping and receiving material along with required documentation
- Responsible for using a forklift, hand truck and other machinery to accept, count and move incoming deliveries to the warehouse or specific staging areas.
- Responsible to load & unload materials into/onto vehicles and use proper load securement principles to prevent damage in transit.
- Must ensure compliance with TDG, WHMIS, OH&S, and any other regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the safety of others and own personal safety while performing duties.
- The reporting of unsafe conditions/incidents.
- Responsible to ensure all warehouse facilities and equipment are maintained in good operating condition

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse (receiving or materials management).
- Minimum 3-years forklift experience
- Some background with trucking and or oil companies
- Valid Alberta Drivers License
- Strong attention to detail, follow through skills and organized
- Flexibility to multitask, and cross-train within the department
- Able to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
- A proven track record in great customer service, attendance, and reliability

**Salary**: From $22.05 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 3 years (preferred)
