Account Manager, Paid Search

**Position Overview**:
The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of client relationships and search marketing initiatives. They help determine the search engine marketing strategy for campaigns to meet and exceed client goals and business objectives. You will oversee the training and day to day workload of junior team members. Within this role, you will gain a valuable foundation for a career in digital media and grow both the team’s and the client’s digital capabilities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assess, create, develop, and implement strategic search marketing plans that meet client’s goals
- Create, present and gain client approval on insertion orders, campaign strategies and tactics
- Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes
- Maintain positive client relationships, expectations and communications
- Forecast, generate and maximize revenue opportunities with clients
- Gather and prepare campaign performance data and optimize accordingly to maximize the client investment
- Advise existing clients looking to meet their marketing goals using search marketing strategies
- Build on an existing level of search engine marketing expertise and develop a reputation for innovation and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in search engine marketing, digital marketing as well as consumer behaviour and recommend improvements to accounts
**What You Bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant college certificate
- Minimum of three (3) years of paid search experience and/or digital marketing account management
- Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face
- High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Technical and analytical mindset
- Experience with search advertising platforms (i.e. Google AdWords, Bing Ads, YouTube Search, etc.)
- Familiarity with bid management tools (i.e. SA360) is an asset
