Position Summary

We are seeking Solar Installers / Electrical Apprentices to support our Journeyman Electricians with residential and commercial solar installations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is eager to build their career in solar and electrical trades.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems
- Assemble and mount solar panels, racking, and related hardware on rooftops or ground mounts
- Pull wire, install conduit, and support electrical tie-ins
- Perform basic construction tasks such as drilling, mounting, and equipment setup
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with electrical codes and site procedures
- Maintain a clean worksite and properly handle tools and equipment
- Follow direction, ask questions when needed, and work as part of a high-performing crew

Qualifications
- Registered Electrical Apprentice (1st-4th year)
- Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s licence; clean driving record preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
- CSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, and other safety certificates are considered assets (training can be provided)
