**Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the POS system effectively.
- Maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Provide support during busy periods by helping with additional tasks as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and guest services.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- A team player with a positive attitude who enjoys helping others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
