Toromont Power Systems is looking for a **Service Manager** to join their team The Service Manager, Power Systems has overall accountability for the service operations for the Power Systems business in Atlantic Canada, including, but not limited to, responsibilities for financial (P&L), training and coaching, process and operational efficiency, improvements and customer satisfaction

**In a typical day, YOU will**:
- Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives as well as enforce customer safety rules
- Lead safety initiatives and maintain accountability for results
- Manage day-to-day branch service activities, supporting Service Coordinators, Advisors and Supervisors to achieve key service objectives and meet budgets
- Manage and coach direct reports as well as plan and execute required training and time management aligned personal goals
- Lead the way in maintaining the day-to-day relationship with the group, ensuring the execution of operational procedures and policies in accordance with the Toromont policies
- Ensure continued customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating continued engagement with customers
- Deliver strong service support to lead revenue growth
- Lead team in identifying process and operational efficiency improvements
- Manage and implement improvements and monitor progress
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts for the branch and monitor progress throughout the year
**Must-haves for this role**:
- Post Secondary Education with a minimum of 15 years experience in the electric power generation industry and/or marine power industry
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a management/supervisory position (experience working with bargaining agreements in a union environment would be beneficial)
- Thorough understanding of the marine, industrial and electric power generation service industry
- Solid understanding of the current power market place and customer base
- Exceptional communication, relationship development and interpersonal skills to collaborate at all levels
- Customer centric with effective team building, coaching and leadership with the ability to implement short to long term goals
- Proven business and financial acumen with effective decision making and problem solving
- Well-developed negotiation, analytical, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to effectively adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, deadline driven environment
- Self-directed, independent and a team player with strong initiative and high integrity
- Strong computer and systems proficiencies with Excel and Word
- Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needs
- Knowledge of CAT SIS, DBS or experience with Toromont operations would be an asset
