**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Perform minor automotive repairs as needed and report any major mechanical issues promptly.
- Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Experience in freight handling and logistics is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is advantageous.
- Previous experience operating forklifts is desirable but not mandatory.
