Duties - Assemble shelving and racking units according to provided instructions and diagrams. - Inspect components for quality and accuracy before assembly and installation. - Install shelving and racking systems within warehouse environments, ensuring proper alignment and stability. - Prepare shipments for customer orders, including packaging, labeling, and ensuring accuracy. - Collaborate with team members to streamline assembly, installation, and shipment processes. - Participate in inventory checks and maintain accurate records of assembled units and installed systems. - Adhere to safety protocols during assembly, installation, and warehouse operations. - Go to customer sites for installation assignments under the guidance of a team lead, ensuring efficient and accurate installation practices. Experience require: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to accurately read and interpret installation instructions and drawings. - Strong knowledge of safety protocols. - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. - Forklift certification is required. - Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel. - Preferred: Knowledge of shelving and racking systems. - Police check required upon hiring. - Two professional references needed for verification. - Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred - Mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes - Familiarity with power tools and hand tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Experience working in a warehouse.
