St Albert, Canada Cavalier Industries Ltd. Full time

**Who We Are**

Cavalier Industries is a fast-growing designer-builder of mobile power, lighting and heating systems for the construction and rental markets. From our 55,000 ft² facility just north-west of Edmonton we ship equipment across North America—and we’re looking for an energetic, hands-on teammate to keep product flowing smoothly in and out of the plant.

**Why This Role Rocks**

Visible impact. You’ll own the entire shipping & receiving desk—your work keeps production running and customers happy.

Growth runway. We’re scaling in the next few years, which means there is room to move up into logistics planning, purchasing, or team leadership.

Modern tools. Epicor Kinetic ERP, cloud freight platforms, and overhead cranes. We invest in the gear that makes the job safer and smarter.

**What You’ll Do**

**70 % Hands-On Operations**:

- Receive inbound trucks, inspect goods, match against POs and enter into ERP.
- Stage, pick & pack parts and finished goods for production and outbound orders.
- Load outbound LTL/FTL shipments using forklift & overhead crane.
- Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and help drive inventory accuracy to 97 %+.

**30 % Logistics & Administration**
- Prepare export paperwork (commercial invoices, CUSMA certs, B13/B15, NAFTA, HTS codes).
- Request and compare freight quotes; select best-value carrier.
- Book pickups and track shipments to delivery.
- File freight claims, investigate variances and drive continuous improvement.

**What You Bring**
- 2+ years in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Solid forklift skills—with current certification or willingness to get certified in week 1.
- Working knowledge of ERP or WMS systems; Excel basics for quotes & trackers.
- Familiarity with export documents and Incoterms is a plus (we’ll teach the rest).
- Ability to lift 50 lb / 23 kg, climb ladders, and work on your feet most of the day.
- Safety-first mindset and a knack for finding better, leaner ways to work.

**What We Offer**
- Competitive hourly wage, plus overtime.
- Full benefits—health, dental, life, disability—after 90 days.

Monday-Friday day shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) with occasional late truck coverage.

A collaborative culture where your ideas to streamline the flow get implemented.

**Ready to Move Your Career Forward?**

Send your resume (PDF). Include a short note on the coolest logistics challenge you’ve solved—tell us how you made a process faster, safer or cheaper.
- We value diversity and hire on talent, attitude and potential. If you’re excited about the role but don’t tick every single box, we still want to hear from you._
