We are looking to hire a qualified swim instructor to teach children and adults of all ages to develop and improve their swimming techniques and skills.

To be successful as a swim instructor, you should demonstrate patience and enthusiasm and be able to motivate students to accomplish their swimming goals.

Ultimately, an exceptional swim instructor should be able to communicate effectively with students and ensure that all water safety rules are adhered to.
Swim Instructor Responsibilities:

- Teaching swimming lessons, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.
- Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.
- Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Identifying incorrect swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly.
- Ensuring that the swimming pool and locker rooms are kept clean and tidy.

Swim Instructor Requirements:

- Current Swim Instructor Certification(LSS or Red Cross)
- Current Bronze Cross or NLS Certification(LSS)
- Current Standard First-Aid with CPR C Certification(LSS or Red Cross)
- Effective communication skills.
- Passionate and enthusiastic.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
