**JOB DESCRIPTION -**

**Data Manager**

Reporting to the Assistant Head of School - Operations, the Data Manager is responsible for ensuring the optimal configuration and utilization of the school’s information systems, as well as the quality and security of associated data.

**The Data Manager’s responsibility will include, but not be limited to**:

- Ensure the optimal configuration and utilization of information systems;
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data;
- Prepare and maintain databases for the start and closing of each school year;
- Analyze data needs for various departments and build responsive reports
- Input and update data records as required;
- Monitor and maintain user accounts and access permissions;
- Identify privacy requirements and ensure appropriate protections;
- Develop operating procedures to ensure effective and secure use of information systems;
- Train and support staff in effective and secure system usage.

**The Data Manager’s Qualifications and Skills**:

- Ability to analyze business needs and devise responsive information system solutions;
- Understanding of database systems and ability to design/build reports and queries;
- Ability to formulate written operating procedures and associated training materials;
- Ability to train and support staff;
- Advanced analytical organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Good verbal and written skills in English; Good English written and oral communication skills;
- Knowledge of Coba and/or Donor perfect are a plus

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
