Animation Production Manager

**ABOUT US**
Skyship Entertainment is best known as the creator of the super popular Super Simple Songs YouTube channel We’re a digital-first animation and live-action TV production studio focusing on original series and song content for preschoolers and older audiences - and we’ve recently expanded beyond YouTube into subscription apps, games, books and products.
**THE ROLE**
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Animation Production Manager to join our in-house team and help bring our projects to life on time and on budget. You will be responsible for multiple ongoing animation projects, ensuring smooth communication between departments, managing schedules and resources, and supporting the creative team in delivering high-quality work. You'll be a key liaison between the Head of Production, animation directors, art directors, audio, and social media departments.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Manage the production schedule for multiple animation projects, and ensure deadlines are met across all stages of the animation pipeline (audio, storyboarding, design, animation, compositing).
- Work closely with creative leads to forecast resource needs and allocate artists accordingly.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement efficient workflows and solutions.
- Facilitate regular check-ins, and production meetings to track progress and resolve any bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with department heads to maintain quality standards while keeping within project scope.
- Create and maintain documentation, trackers, and reports for internal use.
- Organise files and maintain a clean and efficient workflow for in-house and remote animators
- Coordinate with external studios and freelance artists.
**KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- 3+ years of experience in animation pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
- Must be qualified to work in Canada.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
