As part of our continued expansion we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager (M1-G6) to join our growing team on a permanent basis located in Montreal, Quebec.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee and ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the company’s accounts receivable operations and team, driving the collection process, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring timely revenue generation.

**The Role**

**As an **Accounts Receivable Manager**, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading, training, and mentoring the accounts receivable team towards achieving departmental goals.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for effective accounts receivable management and control.
- Monitoring and managing the customer payment process and collections activities.
- Analyzing accounts receivable data to identify trends, assess risks, and optimize cash flow.
- Collaborating with sales, customer service, and management to resolve discrepancies and disputes and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Overseeing regular reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Reporting on accounts receivable status, metrics, and issues to senior management, providing actionable insights and forecasts.
- Driving initiatives for process improvement and efficiency in the accounts receivable function using technology solutions like advanced accounting software.

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar supervisory role within finance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts receivable processes.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software like Sage Intacct or equivalent.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems proactively, working to deadlines.
