**Job Description**:

- The Field Service Team Lead is a supervisory role that plans, organizes and directs a field service team to meet or exceed business objectives. This position is focused on managing field resources for installation support, start-up, maintenance and operation of drive systems, automation control systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual products which comprise these systems. Responsible for assisting the Territory Services Manager to meet customer and business objectives including budget, schedule, resource loading, and recovery targets. The Field Service Team Lead requires team resource planning skills such as assigning direct reports to CSM (Customer Support & Maintenance) activities, assessing staffing levels and utilization, among other duties. This position manages all employees within their team and is responsible for the performance management, recruiting, and onboarding of those employees.

- Sets expectations and success measures for accountable teams while also resolving conflicts that may arise due to competing business priorities-
- Oversees customer requirements and the development of solutions.Responsible for resource planning including project team assignment, utilization and contract labor. Works with direct reports to address training gaps and development-
- Identifies future hiring needs, designs job descriptions and recruits and interviews top talent for the EIT program and open positions on the teamLeadership- Leads the direction of CSM field support efforts, developing people resources, and managing financial plans and objectives for the resources assigned to them-
- Work with the Territory Services Manager and Project Management to identify and implement training/development assignments for employees-
- Work with the Territory Services Manager and Project Management to track employee project assignments and communicate utilization plans-
- Lead performance review process for assigned employees including defining development plans-
- Communicate regularly with assigned employees on assignments, ensure they have the appropriate knowledge/tools, provide performance feedback, coaching and career goals-
- Work with the Territory Services Manager to plan effective use of non-billable time (training, internal projects) for assigned employees Responsible for maintaining utilization/recovery budgets for resources and to coordinate resource sharing with other business units-
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective communication lines and working relationships with other business units, customers, leadership team and employeesSets forth directives for increasing the productivity of field support to maintain competitive costs and lead-times-
- Takes ownership for results and drives issues toward resolution. Ensures conformance of all team activities to proper safety standardsBasic Qualifications- Technologist Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent-
- Travel up to 50%-

- Strong projects background in automation and control systems required-
- Prior management or leadership experience is desirable-
