Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to management
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and a system of internal controls
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements in several provinces
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes
- Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing training and development opportunities
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role. Warehousing & Distribution experience would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in software such as MS Office, Sage (Simply)
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
