**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and patching.
- Remove old paint and finishes as necessary.
- Fill holes, seal corners, and ensure surfaces are smooth and ready for finishing.
- Install and repair drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding to a smooth finish.
- Perform demolition, framing, insulation, and installation of baseboards and trims as needed.
- Protect surfaces from damage through the use of primers and other coatings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in interior painting and drywall installation/repair.
- Reliable, with strong **attention to detail** and efficiency.
- Comfortable working from heights when necessary.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and finishes.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and remain detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, bending, or kneeling.
- Possess and maintain a valid Ontario G Driver’s license in good standing.
- High School Diploma and 5+ years of work-related experience.
- WHMIS training and knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in Ontario are assets.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 42 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
