Klass Drywall Inc. is a leading professional drywall company that primarily serves the Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge area. Our focus is providing a high level of quality and workmanship. We are expanding and require a highly skilled Drywall Specialist with proven experience, that resides in the KW area.

This is a hands-on role with its primary purpose to assist the Site Supervisor with daily tasks on a job site. This role focuses on completing project requirements, while adhering to all safety protocols and project timelines. The following is a list of duties that apply, however other duties may be necessary to complete tasks:

- Assist with set-up and clean-up of the job site.
- Lead and motivate workers to stay on schedule.
- Perform necessary labour with all aspects of drywall installation.
- Always maintain a high quality of workmanship.
- Operate hand and power tools to perform necessary tasks.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure others are following these as well.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Read blueprints or plans, when required.
- Inspect finished installation and make necessary corrections.
- Complete all required Health and Safety training and maintaining standards
- Maintain communication with Site Supervisor regarding timelines & schedules
- Perform the same work as the other Drywall Specialist team members
- Maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications / Experience:

- 3+ years of proven experience in all aspects of drywall installation and finishing
- High attention to detail
- Understand the importance of quality workmanship
- Must have own personal hand tools
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing environments
- Must be able to lift drywall and some heavy equipment at times
- Experience working in a team
- Can maintain a positive and collaborative attitude
- Professional demeanor
- Valid Driver’s License with access to a personal vehicle
- Own cell phone with a data plan
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of residential and commercial projects is an asset
- Valid WHMIS, Working at Heights, Health & Safety Awareness

**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Casual dress

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. 7:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 1:00pm Fridays. Additional hours as required.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
