**Job Overview**
Newland Steel Corporation (“NSC”) is currently seeking an energetic **Summer Intern** who is eager to learn and grow their experience in Business Development, analysis and administration, at our head office in Calgary, Alberta.

The anticipated term is June 01 - August 31, 2025. This position offers growth potential with the possibility of transitioning to full time in the future.

Our Intern must have a keen interest in how businesses work, coupled with the ability to jump into a project with the intention to learn and add value. You will foster strong working relationships with our clients and leverage your technical skills to assist in optimizing internal processes and efficiencies.

**Duties**
- Assist with daily operations and administrative tasks within the department. Administration, data management and integrity
- Working with the team to enhance existing documents。
- Participate in team meetings, providing input and feedback on ongoing projects.
- Help coordinate quotations, technically evaluating the customer’s requirements, accurately costing the scope of supply and clearly understanding involvement required by the company
- Coordinate and schedule delivery of products to customers
- Participation in documentation of templates and documents
- Conducting research, create reports and manipulate data
- Formatting and editing work

**Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in a degree program relevant to the internship field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Previous internship or related experience is a plus but not required.

Newland Steel Corporation is a leading distributor of oilfield equipment. We specialize in steel products and tubular goods and serve oil and gas operators in North and South America.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
